Stephen Lawson FDR Law Partner was interviewed on Roger Phillips’ Tuesday lunch time show (28th July) on BBC Radio Merseyside discussing testamentary capacity in relation to a recent landmark judgement.
The case was an eight year court battle where the daughter was granted a third of her mother’s £500,000 estate by the Court of Appeal, despite the fact she had not been included in her mother’s Will.
Stephen discussed how the decision will have implications for people making Wills in the future, and how disinherited adult children may have a case to challenging a Will.
