Warrington First - 15th November 2017

  • Posted

November Meeting - Wednesday 15th 12.45PM- 2pm

This month’s event will be held at Institution bar on Palmyra Square and we will hear from Kate Deakin of the Tim Parry Jonathan Ball Peace Foundation.

With the 25 year anniversary of the Warrington bombing approaching, the Unique Achievement campaign is being launched. This is based upon Colin Parry’s poignant words at  Tim’s funeral,  “If my son becomes a symbol for Peace and gives everyone a sense of hope after so much tragedy, then that will be Tim’s Unique Achievement”. Kate will also deliver an update on the work that has been done most recently with survivors of Manchester, Westminster, Parson Green, Borough Market and Barcelona terror attacks.  As people who live and work in Warrington we seek to promote everything that is great about this town – with that in mind this is an event that really deserves our support and attention.

The cost is just £10 per person payable on the day and there will be usual informal and friendly networking from 12.45 followed by lunch and the presentation.  Paces are limited and are by prior booking only, and any pre-booked places will be invoiced and must be paid unless 48 hours’ notice is given.

If you have any special dietary requirements please confirm at the time of booking.
