'Stars of FDR' raise £870 for FDR Foundation

  • Posted

Generous donations from FDR staff as part of Christmas appeal

This year at FDR Law staff have chosen to not send Christmas cards and instead donate the money to our charity the FDR Foundation. In return each person that donated has been recognised with their name and face on a star hanging from our Christmas Tree in the offices on Palmyra Square, Warrington.

The tree featuring the "stars of FDR" was unveiled by FDR Law Chairman Charles Agar, and the cheque showing the total amount raised of £870 was presented to the Trustees of the FDR Foundation. Chair of the FDR Foundation Margaret Evans thanked all those involved for their hard work in organising the fund raising, preparing the tree and most importantly donating to such a good cause.

The FDR Foundation has already made awards including a customised wheelchair for a local girl with mobility issues, and for 30 local children and their families to visit the circus, and this donation allows them to continue their work of making a difference to the people of the local area. The FDR Foundation was officially launched in February 2018 with the aim to provide financial support to families of children in need in Cheshire, by reason of ill health, disability, financial hardship or another disadvantage.
