Local recognition for Norman Banner MBE
I was delighted to be asked to attend an extraordinary meeting of the Council of Warrington Borough where Norman Banner was awarded the title of the Honorary Freeman of the Borough in recognition of the eminent services he has given over many years to the Borough of Warrington. This was a meeting of the full Council and I am pleased to say the award was made following a unanimous vote of all councillors.
This is a rare honour to bestow for a Council and all here at FDR congratulate Norman on the much deserved award.
