John qualified as a Solicitor in 1986 and has 30 years experience of commercial law. Upon qualification John worked in the Commercial Department at the head office of Edge & Ellison in Birmingham and then moved to Manchester to work for Halliwells.
John left Halliwells and became a Partner in a niche Commercial Practice based in Warrington. John oversaw the growth and development of that firm by strategic merger and acquisition from a firm with 3 Partners and 7 members of staff to FDR Law's current size of 15 Partners and 120 members of staff.
Additionally, John has continued to specialise in commercial law advising a large number of businesses on a wide variety of commercial matters including commercial agreements, corporate acquisitions and disposals, employment, insolvency and re-structuring and dispute resolution including property litigation.
