Foundation Easter activity provides Eggs for Children's Ward

  • Posted

Easter related fund-raising activity allows the FDR Foundation to donate Easter Eggs to the children's ward at Warrington Hospital

In the run up to Easter, staff, visitors and clients at FDR Law have all been invited to take part in a 'Guess the Eggs in the Jar' competition with a £1 entry fee giving everyone a chance to win the jar full of chocolate eggs. 3 jars were up for grabs across our offices in Warrington, Stockton Heath and Frodsham, with all the money raised going towards our charity The FDR Foundation, that supports disadvantaged children across Warrington & Cheshire.

Thanks to everyone's participation the money raised allowed the Foundation to purchase and donate Easter eggs for all the children in Warrington Hospital over the Easter period. We were delighted to be able to then deliver the eggs in person to the children's ward earlier today to help distribute them, with help from the hospital's own charity and staff from the ward. Chair of the FDR Foundation Margaret Evans commented "The FDR Foundation is delighted to have provided Easter eggs to the Children's Ward at Warrington Hospital to make a difference for those children who are unable to spend the Easter break at home"

Margaret is pictured below (complete with bunny ears), along with Andrea & Jill from the children's ward, Helen from Warrington & Halton Hospital's Charity, and Ian & Grace also from the FDR Foundation, proudly showing off their Easter Eggs.
