Grace Griffin finished her training contract on September 2nd and has been admitted to the Roll of Solicitors on September 3rd and takes up her position as a solicitor with FDR Law with immediate effect.
Grace joined FDR Law as a paralegal in November 2015 and began her training contract with the firm in September 2018.
When discussing this milestone moment in Grace’s career, Margaret Evans, Partner and Training Principal said; We are delighted with Grace’s progress. During her time as a paralegal we were impressed with Grace’s ability and enthusiasm. Grace has worked very hard to complete her training contract and to be able to qualify as a solicitor, particularly during the last few months with the challenges COVID-19 has brought. I am very pleased that she has made the most of her training contract and to see her become a newly qualified solicitor and I am sure she will develop into an effective and successful lawyer.
Discussing Grace’s achievement, Stephen Lawson, Partner and Head of Civil Litigation, said; This is a well-deserved milestone for Grace. Grace has only been in the Civil Litigation department for a relatively short period of time, however, she is already demonstrating many of the attributes that I believe will make her a very accomplished solicitor and I am delighted to have her as part of the team.
Grace was equally pleased with the news and admitted to being excited at what the future holds. She said; I am really happy to be qualifying as a solicitor, I’m pleased that all of the years of studying have finally paid off. I am so happy to be finally qualified and I am excited to start the next chapter and see what the future holds here. It’s just a shame I can’t really celebrate due to the global pandemic that you may be aware of!
