A new commercial property solicitor has joined the commercial department of Warrington legal firm, FDR Law.
Lynne Cook, who is based at the firm’s Bold Street office, will boost the specialist commercial team dealing with landlord and tenant issues, and land acquisitions and disposals.
She joins FDR from the large Manchester law firm DWF, where she was employed as a commercial property specialist for 14 years. Her work involved a number of large corporate disposals, including a car dealership and major house builder, and representing liquidators, receivers and administrators in insolvency-related property cases.
Lynne, who qualified as a solicitor in 1999, juggles work with two young children and is a parent governor at Stockton Heath Primary School.
She said: “I am delighted to join a local Warrington law firm with such a strong commercial department which really punches above its weight. I hope to be able to use my specialist insolvency knowledge to expand the services that FDR can offer to its property clients.”
