"according to the government’s draft proposals in the Equality Act 2010 (Equal Pay Audits) Regulations 2014, from the 1st October 2014, employers will be exposed to mandatory pay audits if they lose a claim for equal pay or sex discrimination (subject to exemptions) and will be required to publish the audit on their website.  It may be time for employers to review any gender pay gaps now to minimise the risk of claims."
