FDR Law's Training Trio

  • Posted

FDR Law has awarded training contracts to three would-be solicitors in their Commercial Department.

Paralegals David Jones, Carla Stenton-Roberts and Eleanor Woodall have all been offered a chance to undertake extra training and work experience to enable them to become fully qualified solicitors.

Margaret Evans, FDR Law commercial partner and training manager, said: “Training the next generation of young lawyers is a responsibility FDR Law takes very seriously. It is rare for a firm this size to offer training contracts to three paralegals at the same time but all three of our young lawyers have proved they deserve this tremendous opportunity to advance their legal careers.”

All three are based at FDR Law’s commercial office in Bold Street, Warrington. Eleanor is currently employed as a paralegal offering non-contentious advice to businesses. David works in commercial litigation and employment, and Carla is a specialist in electrical easements within the commercial property team.

Having already obtained degrees, the trio will study on a legal practice course and need to pass a professional skills course alongside their full time work before qualifying as solicitors.
