Guests were invited to buy a raffle ticket, during a private viewing of the England v Wales Euro match yesterday.
The campaign was set up to raise money for Theo Clennon, a 2 year old diagnosed with a rare brain tumour in March. He had been undergoing Chemotheraphy at Alder Hey Children's Hospital and as radiotheraphy is not an option at his young age, his only other option is Proton Beam Therapy, which is curently only available in the US.
There have been many local fundraising activites to support Theo and his family, and on Friday 8th July there is a (now sold out) evening at The Halliwell Jones Stadium hosted by Comedian Jason Manford.
