  • Posted

FDR Law has recently commissioned local artist, Ben Ashford, to produce twelve new unique pieces of contemporary art. The eye-catching series include colours from the company’s branding palette of blue, green and purple, as well as influenced by Ben’s own style and colouring choices to ensure they stand out. These are now displayed in its local commercial offices in Bold Street, complementing the company’s newly refurbished meeting rooms, company boardroom and main reception area. The first pieces went on display last month and the full series will be available to view within days.

The firm, which works for private clients and businesses across the region, has long supported local artists and talent as part of its collaborative work with the local community. FDR have an ongoing relationship with Warrington Collegiate Art & Design department and has displayed several pieces of from the students in its Palmyra Square reception and meeting rooms. These include abstract textile pieces as well as photographic art.
Ben Ashford, who has a background in graphic design, started his business 'Splash Art' in 2016 after having the idea to create a bright and colourful piece of art for his own house.

Says Ben, “I was delighted to receive this commission from FDR Law, who is recognised as a leading business in Warrington. When I decided on this style of art, I had no idea how effective and modern it would look – or how the business would take off. Getting support from local businesses has been important in my success and I’m proud to see the new unique, bespoke pieces gain attention amongst FDR Law’s clients.”

Commenting, Charles Agar, Chairman at FDR, said, “Ben’s paintings have certainly added a new dimension to the office in Bold Street and we are, of course, delighted to be able to support up-and-coming local artists. As a growing business in the North West, it’s important to us that we continue to invest in the local community. At the same time, these new pieces help to ensure we stand out from the crowd with creative and unique art.”
