We are looking for one Consumer Trainee to contribute to our continued success.

FDR Law is a full service law firm, based in the North West, serving clients throughout the UK. We were established in 2008, however, our roots can be traced back over 250 years. We have over 100 dedicated employees, including over 45 lawyers, based across 3 offices in Warrington, Stockton Heath and Frodsham.
Over a two year period of training and development you will be supervised by a Partner and guided through the legal technicalities and business skills required to prepare you for your future career. You will complete 3 seats within our Civil Litigation, Private Client and Conveyancing Departments however these will be worked flexibly rather than the more traditional approach of a number of months at a time. You will gain invaluable experience as you will have the opportunity to undertake interesting, stimulating and engaging tasks throughout the period of training.
Our selection process will require you to demonstrate outstanding and essential qualities, academically and personally as our aim is to offer employment contracts at the completion of the training period. Applicants should however appreciate that their contract is limited to the training period and whether a qualified opportunity will arise after September 2020 is a matter entirely at the discretion of FDR Law.
You will need:
- To demonstrate positive qualities to prove that you would be an asset to our team
- The ability to accurately interpret and follow instructions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- To be able to accept constructive criticism
- The ability to think innovatively
- The possession or acquisition during the time of the training contract of legal knowledge and rules of practice in the areas in which you will train
- In addition the following would be desirable although not essential:
- A minimum of a 2:1 degree
- To have successfully completed the Legal Practice Course
The primary base for this training arrangement will be in our Frodsham office however it is designed to provide variety between departments and offices therefore it is essential that you have the ability to travel between locations regularly.
