FDR Law strengthens employment and HR credentials

FDR Law has announced the acquisition of Appleton based human resources consultancy, Hayton Heyes. The acquisition of the company, owned by human resource specialist Kim Hayton, will complement the firm's existing employment law team and HR offering, FDR HR.

Hayton Heyes’ existing client base will be managed by the team at FDR, which will now include the team from Hayton Heyes, benefitting from an extended team of experts.  The firm’s HR service, FDR HR, covers a range of consultancy services for businesses from an outsourced HR department, management and leadership training to recruitment, selection, disciplinary and grievance to name just a few.

Commenting on the acquisition, Oliver Burton, CEO at FDR Law said "Market demand has driven this acquisition as we are seeing an increasing requirement for specialist HR advice and support from our clients.  Since we launched our FDR HR service to clients last year, we have had a very positive response.  The acquisition of Hayton Heyes will now further enhance our consultancy and advice service which we will continue to deliver alongside our existing legal service through our expert commercial team."

To support the firm’s ongoing growth, it also recently announced additions to its private client team with the appointment of a new clinical negligence expert, Daniel Lee and new wills trust and probate lawyer, Heather Lally.

“2017 will be a year of strong and steady growth for FDR and the acquisition and appointments we have made are a key part of our growth strategy over the next 12 months.  We are currently seeing strong performance in our commercial business and these measures will ensure we capitalise on that growth and continue to attract new commercial clients as well as private clients,” added Oliver Burton, CEO FDR Law.
