Family Services

Your family matters

Modern society is changing and the traditional image of family life is shifting. Such changes bring with them new problems and disputes which may require legal intervention.

Forshaws Davies Ridgway LLP is home to a leading family law team. We offer our clients a supportive approach at what can often be a very traumatic time. We believe that experience and sensitivity are key to this particular area of law – so too is a desire to reach a satisfactory settlement.

Experience, knowledge and understanding

You have the assurance that all lawyers within the Family team adhere to strict guidelines and procedures. Our team includes accredited members of the Law Society Family Panel, the Law Society Children’s Panel and Resolution. We also have two trained collaborative lawyers.

We are one of the UK’s leading practices in challenging the Child Support Agency (CSA) and Child Maintenance Executive Committee (CMEC) when parents with care or non-resident parents have a grievance with decisions or procedures of the CSA.

Whatever your background or circumstances, you can be confident of a friendly, professional approach to clarifying your rights and options.

Our services will assist you with divorce, separation, children, finances; including business interests and pensions, collaborative law, pre-marital agreements, cohabitation, civil partnerships, adoption, domestic abuse, abduction of children and CSA claims.
