The Employment Equality (Age) Regulations 2006 have now been in force for almost three years. Most employers will have adapted their employment procedures, but some still have work to do and mistakes could prove very costly indeed.

At FDR we work with a number of mortgage intermediaries and financial advisers who are often targeted with mortgage products which include ‘free’ conveyancing services. However, this ‘free’ representation can often be misinterpreted as in reality these services often do not include legal representation for the client. The only legal representation included is that which covers the interests of the mortgage lender themselves.
