Buying
You’ve found the perfect property and want to move in and enjoy your new home as soon as possible. We will work tirelessly on your behalf to move things forward and minimise delays.
Selling
When selling a property we will work with you to ensure you are able to move as quickly as you want. Our role is to prove ownership of the property and to subsequently draw up a contract of sale.
Home Information Packs
No property in England and Wales can be put on the market without a Home Information Pack (HIP). The HIP is a set of documents which must be requested prior to being able to legally market a residential property.
Remortgaging
When transferring mortgages it is important that your interests are looked after as well as that of the mortgage lenders. Our dedicated staff have decades of experience in dealing with remortgage transactions quickly.
Intermediaries
Forshaws Davies Ridgway has an excellent reputation of working closely with Estate Agents, Mortgage Advisors, Lenders and other third parties in order to ensure the client’s best interests are catered for.
Lease extensions & Enfranchisements
This is a complex area in which we specialize. We can assist with extending leases or purchasing freeholds. We are members of the Association of Leasehold Enfranchisement Practitioners (ALEP) and are listed on the website of the Leasehold Advisory Service.
